Soprano Jeanne Goffi-Fynn is active as a performer and teacher in the New York City area. She received her doctorate in education (Ed.D) from Teachers College of Columbia University, where she serves as director of the Doctoral Cohort Program in the Program of Music and Music Education. Her particular area of interest at Columbia is the applied music studio. Prior faculty appointments include New York University, William Paterson University, the Actor's Studio MFA Program at The New School, and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She credits the beginning of her teaching career to Dr. Barbara Doscher (author of The Functional Unity of the Singing Voice) with whom she studied voice and pedagogy in at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Having trained as a vocologist with Peak Woo, MD and Linda Carroll, Ph.D. at Mount Sinai's Grabsheid Voice Center, and with Anat Keidar, Ph.D. at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Dr. Goffi-Fynn actively rehabilitates injured singing voices. She has presented workshops and masterclasses with NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), The Voice Foundation, and the New York Singing Teachers Association (NYSTA).

Operatic roles include Marie in Daughter of the Regiment (updated version) with Opera Nova, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Olympia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann. Concert and oratorio solo performances in New York include the Cantata Singers and Temple Emmanu-El, while European performances include the Lugano Radio Orchestra in Switzerland and a tour of Italy with the Rumanian Radio Orchestra. She also studied and performed at the Zurich Opera Studio as well as with the American Institute of Musical Studies (A.I.M.S.) in Graz, Austria.

Jeanne presently serves as President of NATS-NYC and has previously served on the board of New York Singing Teachers Association (NYSTA). Additionally, she co-directed of NYSTA's Professional Development Program, which is now in offered in conjunction with Teachers College Columbia University.
